No Kings Oshkosh 3/28 Public Information
Peaceful Patriots is part of the NE WI Coalition who plan for state and national calls to action; we are honored to be a part of such a great group of people and organizations. We are pleased to announce all official times for NO KINGS in the coalition for NE WI.
Green Bay 11:30am-1:30pm
Oshkosh 12:30-2:30pm
Appleton 3-5pm
At our Oshkosh rally, we will have many activities offered. See the blueprint picture at the end of the document for the Sundial layout.
Speakers: A speaker and mic will be available for the community to use for brief speeches.
Signs of Fascism Station: Signs that describe fascism and what is currently happening in this administration will be provided. Sign holders will proceed in a line. See the leader at the station for details that day. Please return all signage to the station.
Community Tabling: Oshkosh Vagabond Network and Peaceful Patriots will have tables set for the event. Other community organizations are welcome to table. Bring all of your own supplies.
Donations: Consider bringing donations to the Oshkosh Vagabond Network who help those in need. See desired donations in CALLS TO ACTION below.
Drumming/Chanting: Bring drums or something to make a joyful noise; walk around the park on public sidewalk and drum and/or chant.
Sign Station: There will be extra signs for people to use at the Sundial. Three large banners will be available for the public to use. Handle with care; return after use to the Sundial.
Bring your own signs. Consider bringing extra for others to use and place them at the Sign Station
Chalk Stations: If dry, multiple stations will be staged around the square.
Music: The Raging Grannies are coming! They will be singing at 1:30pm. Multiple speakers will be placed around the Square for folks to enjoy music.
Water Station: Water will be provided.
CALLS TO ACTION
Volunteers: We need marshals, one more medic, a SoF lead and announcer(s) for safety announcements.
OVN Donations: Bring the following and drop off at their tabling station: first aid kits, maxi pads, tampons, wet wipes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, socks, body wash, tissue, toilet paper, lotion, chapstick, hand warmers, brushes, combs, dry shampoo, sewing kits, lighters, shampoo, conditioner, water bottles, bar soap
